41® Original is an artisanal distilled gin that captures the authentic essence of Sardinia.
Crafted in small batches and distilled at low temperature using vacuum distillation, it
preserves the most delicate aromatic compounds of the botanicals, ensuring purity,
freshness and remarkable aromatic intensity in the final distillate.

Key Botanicals & Philosophy
RENA 41® Original is crafted from a carefully selected range of botanicals that express the
aromatic richness and authenticity of Sardinia.
The structure of the gin is defined by Sardinian wild juniper (Juniperus oxycedrus),
complemented by the balsamic elegance of myrtle leaves and the delicate floral notes of
helichrysum, sourced from the hills and coastal areas of Gallura in north-eastern Sardinia.
Citrus fruits from Milis, lemon and white grapefruit, add brightness and aromatic
freshness. Other botanicals such as coriander, gentian, rosemary, thyme and ginger
contribute depth, balance and structure.
To the best of our knowledge, this is the only distilled gin range exclusively using citrus fruits
from Milis, located in the central-western part of the island.
Every botanical and citrus fruit from Sardinia is carefully selected, hand-harvested and
artisanally prepared at Casa RENA 41, ensuring quality, authenticity and deep respect for
the territory.
Tasting Notes
Colour: Crystal clear and bright, expressing the purity of the distillate.
Nose: Characteristic notes of Sardinian juniper, delicate floral hints of helichrysum, vibrant citrus
aromas from Milis lemons and white grapefruits, complemented by refined balsamic nuances
from distilled myrtle leaves.
Palate: Smooth and well-balanced; myrtle notes opens the tasting journey, followed by juniper
berries, fresh citrus vibrancy and refined herbal complexity.
Finish: Long, harmonious, elegant and persistent, with citrus notes and subtle floral accents.
Serving Suggestion
RENA 41® Original is extremely versatile in mixology, ideal for the great cocktail classics
and outstanding in a modern Basil Smash.
In a Gin & Tonic, it clearly expresses the structure of juniper supported by fresh citrus notes
and delicate Mediterranean nuances.
